Below is the Abstract of the Clinical Study performed at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center at LSU and at the Center for Nutrition and Preventive Medicine in Charlotte, NC. Abstract and Poster Session was presented at the prestigious Experimental Biology Conference held at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco April 1 – 5, 2006. The full study was published in May, 2009 in the peer reviewed medical journal, Open Nutraceuticals Journal.

Abstract: Background: The Renuva System is a dietary supplement sold to prevent symptoms of age-related growth hormone decline.
Objective: Test the ability of the Renuva System to increase growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1).
Methods: The Renuva System is a two-part dietary supplement to maintain a healthy endocrine system. The “Generator Drink” contains amino acids and nicotinic acid. The “Infuser Spray” contains growth hormone releasing peptides in a patented oral delivery system. The Renuva System was given to 13 healthy volunteers >40 years. GH and IGF-1 were measured at -10, -5, 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, and 180 minutes.
Results: Thirteen subjects receiving the two-part Renuva System increased GH 98 + 50.2% (SEM) (p<0.05) from baseline, and IGF-1 rose 35.8 + 45.0 ng/mL (p<0.02) from baseline at 120 minutes.
CONCLUSION (from page 6 of study):
The administration of the two-part Renuva System significantly increased the percent increase of GH from baseline and increased IGF-1 levels in normal volunteers. The time of IGF-1 peak response was found to be slower than that reported when GH-releasing peptides were injected, but the overall response seemed to be similar. Both the components of the Renuva System appear to contribute to the IGF-1 response

PLEASE NOTE: The study described above was conducted using the same products that were offered for sale on the Renuva website and is not provided or meant to imply or suggest that a person taking the Renuva Generator Powder product will have the same or similar results. As of July, 2009 the company stopped manufacturing and distributing Renuva Infuser and recommends that users take double dosages of its Renuva Generator Powder product.
